Things are growing out there!
While doing some yard work today, I discovered lots of green things growing in our flower garden. Sadly, I know hardly anything about the beautiful plants that are peeking above the ground out there because I didn't plant the flowers and I've never learned much about botany. Even without knowing their names, I'm still thrilled to see them each spring!

The first picture you've got there is a pic of crocuses. They are generally the first to spring forth from the ground after winter. They often come up with snow still on the ground. The second picture looks like it could either be hyacinths or daffodil/narcissus. My mom loves flowers and bulbs. We spent lots of time together in the garden. :-) Glad to hear about Chase and nature studies. I have found that God and I have the best conversations in his creation.
